This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) -- 00QS010. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97.5. This is a small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification code is 7622 with a small business size standard of $5M. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure, on a competitive basis, a non-personal service to include all parts, labor, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation and supervision necessary to provide electronic equipment maintenance. Contractor would be required to calibrate, clean, and maintain audio recording equipment. Vendor to accomplish on a weekly basis to ensure systems are at peak performance. All equipment must be inspected and repaired on a 6-month period. Sound reinforcement equipment, for emergency repair sound audio recording equipment. Response time to be within 2 hours. Audio recording equipment parts and materials. Preventative maintenance for wireless microphone equipment. Emergency repair and emergency repair response time within 2 hours. Wireless microphone parts and materials. Preventative maintenance and emergency repair of USAF Band audio/video equipment with an emergency response time within 2 hours. Audio/Video parts and materials. This contract will be for the length of one fiscal year -- from 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 2000. Quotations must include name, address, telephone number, business size/type, cage code, tax ID number and Dunns number, as well as type of small business (i.e., woman or minority owned, etc.).
