LOCATE, IDENTIFY, REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF TWO (2) STEEL HULLED WRECKS FROM THE FEDERALLY AUTHORIZED NAVIGATION CHANNEL IN PUERTO NUEVO TURING BASIN AND ANCHORAGE AREA E, SAN JUAN HARBOR PUERTO RICO. US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to procure services to raise and dispose of two wrecked ships, which are located in San Juan Harbor, Puerto Nuevo. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, divers and services as necessary to remove and remove and dispose of the derelict vessels and any associated debris or cargo. The Contractor may use any standard salvage method, which complies with local and/or Federal laws and regulations. Offshore disposal is not currently authorized under this contract. No explosives will be permitted in the performance of this contract. Solicitation will be issued on a small business set aside basis, therefore only small businesses are invited to respond.
