NASA/DFRC is hereby seeking qualified 8(a) firms capable of performing
work for Technical and Administrative Support Services. These services
include: 1. Library Support -- Operates and maintains a Technical
Library that supports the Center, providing up-to-date publications and
reference material required to support both daily and technical
research efforts. 2. Reproduction Center Support -- Operates and
maintains the Center's Reproduction Center, providing printing and
specialized copier support as required. 3. Technical Publication
Support -- Provides support to the Center in the preparation, editing
and printing of and printing of technical papers and reports. 4.
Resources Support -- Provides support required in the preparation of
Center financial goals planning. 5. Acquisition Office Support --
Prepares contract documents for closeout, prepares interagency purchase
requests, performs data inputting, performs word processing and
document distribution. 6. Financial Management Support -- Provides
specialized support in handling day-to-day funds, payroll, travel and
training. 7. Office Administrative Support -- Provides support to
various codes and projects at the Center. Prepares reports and papers,
schedules events, inputs data, operates office equipment and supports
various administrative functions as required. 8. Integrated Financial
Management Plan (IFMP) Support -- Provides support, including
developing and executing Center scripts for test scenarios, validating
data, reviewing procedure manuals, recording test defects and
validating fixes to identify defects. These services support
directorates and programs, with administrative expertise, resources
expertise, research expertise, editing expertise, and page design
expertise. The solicitation for these services will be written with
specific performance-based characteristics and is expected to result in
a fixed price, indefinate delivery/indefinate quantity (IDIQ) contract.
No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the
solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in
the CBD and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the
potential offerors responsibility to monitor these cites for the
release of any solicitation or synopsis. Interested offerors/vendors
having the required specialized capabilities to meet the above
requirement should submit a capability statement of [10] pages or less
indicating their ability to perform all aspects of the effort
described herein. Responses must include the following: name and
address of firm, size of business; average annual revenue for past 3
years and number of employees; ownership; whether they are small
disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned; number of years in
business; affiliate information: parent company, joint venture
partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential
sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); list of customers covering
the past five years (highlight relevant workperformed, contract
numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and point of
contact -- address and phone number). Questions should be directed to:

and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the
Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited.
Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.
Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant
solicitation for the requirement. The Government anticipates this
procurement will be reserved exclusively for qualified 8(a) firms but,
reserves the right to consider a small business unrestricted
competition based on responses hereto. The Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) code for this requirementis 8741; the
corresponding size standard is $5.0M per year (annual average gross
revenue for the last 3 fiscal years). All responses shall be submitted
