This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in far Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solication Number N68836-99-T-0137 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-10. The standard industrial code is 3499 and the business size is 500 employees. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for one line item as follows: Line Item ooo1: Kevlar Mooring Lines, size 3 3/4 inch circumference, 600 feet long with 6 foot eyes spliced at each end of each mooring line, 4 strand rope Qty: six (6) ea. Delivery date 45 days after award of the contract with delivery to NAVSTA Pascagoula, FISC Det Bldg 50, Pascagoula MS 39595-3500. The government plans to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation.
