Sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and
counseling services in the Mobile, Alabama area for the drug abuse
treatment of male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the
authority of various United States Statutes. A Firm-Fixed-Price
Requirements type contract is anticipated for a one-year period. An
estimated 52 inmates will require services. Services for the one-year
contract will be performed from October 1, 1999 through September 30,
2000. The services required for the contract include: (1) Intake
Assessments (one per inmate); (2) Individual Counseling (48 30-minute
sessions per inmate); and (3) Group Counseling (52 30-minute sessions
per inmate). The services described shall be in accordance with the
Federal Bureau of Prisons' "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT)"
Statement of Work. The estimated Request For Proposals (RFP) closing
date is o/a October 8, 1999. All responsible sources may submit a
proposal which will be considered by this Agency. Those interested in
