Work consists of installing high temperature, high pressure 10 inch diameter, stainless steel air piping to an existing test cell; installing a concrete pad for a 450 psig air heater which will be furnished by the Government; and installing associated electrical power and control systems. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $100k-$500k and the effort shall be completed within 270 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code and small busines size standard for this procurement are 1711 and $7M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB is on or about November 1, 1999 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about December 1, 1999. The provisions and clauses in the solicitation are those in effect through FAC 97 -- 13. The firm date for receipt of bids will be stated in the IFB. Drawings will be available from the Bid Distribution Office. All responsible qualified sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
