C -- DESIGN RENOVATION EXISTING OFFICE SPACE TO SPECIALTY CLINIC EXAM ROOMS SOL 597-22-00 DUE 102299 POC Bonnie Obermier, 402-486-7880 The VA Greater Nebraska Health Care System, Grand Island Division, Grand Island, Nebraska is seeking A/E services. This is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns, SIC 8712, Size Standard is $4 million. Provide design package including but limited to working drawings and specifications for renovations to approximately 2700 square feet (243 square meters)of existing office space into specialty clinic exam rooms with sinks. The A/E will be required to investigate the architectural layout of the 1st floor North of Building #1 and develope various space layouts within estimate construction cost. The A/E must also take into consideration the different type of clinics and/or patient activities that will be performed in the new area. Facility staff will then review the different options and select the most viable. The A/E will then complete a full design of the selected option. The design will also need to take into consideration all newly designed construction projects that will be being constructed at the time of this design. Design shall be in strict compliance with all applicable codes and VA regulations. Detailed cost estimate, construction period services, site visits and verifications of as-built drawings will be expected. A section labeled "Supplemental B" which will be included into the actual contract will further detail design requirements of Project #597-00-106. This project is restricted to Architect-Engineer businesses located within a 600 mile radius of Grand Island, Nebraska. Previous references with similar projects must be documented on the Standard Form 255 in order to be considered for this project.
