The contractor shall provide all services necessary to conduct field surveys for the collection of data on red tree voles. All work shall be done as directed in "Biology and Interim Survey Protocol for the Red Tree Vole in Oregon", September 1996. The protocol requires survey transects spaced according to specifications, covering 60% of the suitable habitat within project areas. Data shall be collected on proposed project units estimated to total 17,000 acres. This is a two-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity project. The total value of the contract will not exceed $300,000. This project shall be performed in the Grants Pass Resource Area, Jackson County, Medford District, Oregon.
