The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Solicitation RFP-797-NC-99-0042, for Dept. of Veterans Affairs' and Dept. of Defense's requirements for the following strengths and size of Salsalate Tablets: 500 mg., 100s, Est. Annual Usage: 11,614 BT; 500 mg., 500s OR 1000s, Est. Annual Usage: 28,422 or 14,211 BT; 750 mg., 100s, Est. Annual Usage: 6,412 BT; 750 mg., 500s OR 1000s, Est. Annual Usage: 46,474 or 23,237 BT. This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. It is expected that Indian Health Service and Bureau of Prisons may submit additional requirments, but the Solicitation will clearly state whether these two agencies are included and if so, what their additional annual usage is expected to be. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year options. Distribution will be through the VA Prime Vendor and DoD Prime Vendors. Offers will be due 11/15/99.
