This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 6TSA-99-DJH-0191 is being issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-13. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13.5 are applicable to this procurement. This procurement is for the following items: CLIN 1. Pioneer PDP-V502MX Color Plasma Displays, Qty. 2; CLIN 2. Pioneer Wall Mounting Brackets with Tilt, Qty. 2. PLEASE INDICATE DELIVERY TIME ON QUOTE. FOB Hanscom AFB, MA. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE ALL REQUIREMENTS ON QUOTATIONS. No partial quotes will be considered. Please indicate FOB destination on quote. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation is based on best value including cost and ability to meet service requirements. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In addition to the guidance contained in FAR 52.212-4, contractors shall submit proof of delivery with their invoices. Proof of delivery may be in the form of a bill of lading or other shipping document signed by the receiving office. Invoices received without proof of delivery will not be accepted. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
