One or more open-end Architect-Engineering (A-E) contract(s) for investigation and design of routine miscellaneous projects as required. The projects will involve primarily civil/structural services with architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering support as required, as well as removal of asbestos and lead based paint where encountered. Construction costs of the individual projects will range between $5,000 and $3,000,000. The award(s) will consist of a basic one-year contract(s) with up to four one-year option periods. The selected firm is guaranteed a minimum of $5,000 in fees in the basic year only. With the exception of the initial order, no individual order will exceed $299,000 in fees. The cumulative fees for each contract will not exceed $750,000 per year. The A-E firms will be evaluated on the following significant factors in relative order of importance: Professional qualifications, professional capacity, specialized experience, past performance, location, computer aided design drafting (AUTOCADD), and volume of work. A-E Firms desiring consideration should be multi-disciplined or clearly indicate their consultants for joint ventures. The anticipated disciplines required for these projects are: Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Civil, and Structural. A-E firms desiring consideration must also submit both SF 254 and SF 255 with appropriate data as described in Note 24. SF 254 and SF 255 are also required for consultants or joint venture firms.
