This procurement will be a sole source award to Lockheed Martin Information Systems, 4000 South Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL 35802-1326, under the authority cited in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) (See Numbered Note 22). The contractor shall be responsible for all construction, labor, equipment, material, and testing necessary to retrofit thirteen hydraulically operated Armor Moving Target Carriers (AMTCs) to all electric, the supply and installation of sixty new Armor Tank Target Simulators (ATTS), and the supply and installation of sixty Series 200 12VDC Commercial Battery Eliminators. Lockheed Martin currently possesses all manufacturing proprietary rights to this equipment. The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
