disregarded. Question pertains to solicitation F33601-99-B9007. 25 Sep
99 Information to follow relates to a technical question asked and the
response to the question: Question: What is the capacity of the
reservior, and how is it going to be drained? Answer: Each reservoir
(east and west) are ground level reservoirs with a capacity of 375,000
gallons. Civil Engineering will pump water to the distribution system
to get the volume of water in the reservoir down to approximately
150,000 gallons. Civil Engineering will then drain remaining water to
a 15 foot deep collection manhole. Contractor will be responsible for
pumping the remaining water from this collection manhole to a storm
water manhole located approximately 50 feet away. The following
information applies to scheduled date and time of subject site visit.
