70 -- WINDOWS NT BOILER OPERATING CONTROL SOFTWARE SOL 1999N00354 POC Bill Bancroft, Contract Specialist, (770)488-2611 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to purchase on a sole source basis a Baily Controls Windows NT Software Boiler Automation Conductor package for the existing Bailey Controls boiler control system currently in place at this facility. It is the information of this agency that no other boiler control manufacturer's software matches or is compatible with the current Bailey Controls system. It is intended that this procurement be issued to AAB Automation, aka Bailey Controls, 4250 International Boulevard, Norcross, Georgia. All interested parties may identify their interests in providing comparable products, but must provide proof of capability in writing to provide an acceptable product by submitting a complete, accurate description of the product proposed, pricing data, and pertinent make and model numbers. Since no solicitation package exists, requests for such documents without accompanying information to establish the vendor's capability of meeting the Government's needs will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. Only responses containing this data will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will not be made on the basis of responses to this synopsis. If no feasible responses are received by the close of business 15 days from the date this notice appears in the CBD, a procurement will be named with the above-named source.
