COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF SEPTEMBER 30,1999 PSA#2444SP -- NOTIFICATION OF ELECTRONIC POSTING SYSTEM (EPS) USE Effective
October 1, 1999, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)
will be using the General Services Administration (GSA) Electronic
Posting System (EPS) to publicize synopses of all its open market
business opportunities exceeding $25,000. Until the law changes, all
such opportunities will also continue to be announced in the Commerce
Business Daily (CBD). The EPS site will also be used for posting
synopses of open market opportunities below the $25,000 threshold to
promote efficiency. EPS is located at www.eps.gov on the World Wide
Web. It is free to all vendors. If you desire, EPS will regularly
notify you automatically of all business opportunities in its database
of interest to you. You need only perform a simple, one-time, online
registration. This feature is especially valuable for small businesses.
