Aircraft Processing Ramp, Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona This proposed
contract is 100% set-aside for small business. JOB DESCRIPTION: This
project provides for demolition/removal of existing aluminum aircraft
matting (66,000 SM) and replacement with new Portland Cement Concrete
(PCC; 60,200 SM) parking ramp/pavement and Asphalt-Concrete (A/C; 1,806
SM) parking pavement and A/C Paving Shoulders (7950 SM). The main ramp
will need to support the moving and parking of various types of DOD
Aircraft. The ramp will be primarily used for supporting AMARC active
preservation and reactivation operations. The parking pavement area
will be used primarily for vehicle parking next to B/7506. The ramp and
parking pavement work will also have; new base course, new water/runoff
control, new concrete parking apron, new tie downs/ground points,
utilities rpl, new perimeter fire hydrants, new ramp lighting,
necessary environmental mitigation (replacement of existing
contaminated soils) and basic site improvements. SIC CODE: This
procurement will be conducted under SIC code:1611. The size standard
for this SIC code is: $17,000,000.00. DESIGN/BUILD:This is a
design/build project; the offeror chosen will complete the design and
construct the facility. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: The acquisition method is
negotiated procurement. A technical and cost/price proposal will be
required. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a
firm that represents the best value to the Government. Estimated cost
is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. REQUESTS must be received

CD-ROM (NO CHARGE) This project will provide plans and specifications
using CD-ROM only. Hard copies of the plans and specifications will
not be available. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced,
copies are limited to one set per firm. The CD-ROM for this project
must be ordered by 10/25/99. Orders received beyond this date will not
be honored. Plans and Specifications can only be ordered
electronically by accessing Internet
