PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, disposal, transportation and supervision necessary for the maintenance dredging of the entrance channel at USCG Station Eatons Neck. The work includes pre-dredge hydrographic survey; bucket dredging of approximately 7,000 cubic yards of sand, gravel and cobbles from the boat channel; disposal of dredged material, post-dredge hydrographic survey; and incidental related work. Dredging shall occur between 01 March and 15 March. PLEASE NOTE: HYDRAULIC DREDGING IS NOT ALLOWED FOR THIS CONTRACT. This solicitation is issued for a base year, with four (4) one (1) year options. Evaluation of bids will be on the total of the base year and all four option years, however, award will be for base year only. Estimated cost of this work for the base year and four option years is $500,000 and $1 million. Solicitation will be available on or about 21 October 1999 for a non-refundable deposit.
