DARPA is planning to award a sole source contract to INUKTUN Services, LTD of B.C., Canada for their minitrac crawler vehicle (1 ea), Micro MGTV (1 ea.) and Microtrac Crawler Vehicle (2 ea.). These items are being purchased for continued testing and evaluation to assess future employment potential as surrogate platforms in the DARPA Robotic Programs Office. INUKTUN Services is the manufacturer and the sole distributor of these commercially available robot systems. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
