The project involves construction of a facility for aircraft general maintenance and non-destructive inspection (NDI) shops. Materials consist of reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab, structural steel frame, brick veneer exterior, and insulated standing seam metal roof. HVAC will be necessary in the administration area. Bid documents are available on or about 20 October 1999. Estimated cost of work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Requests for plans and specifications shall indicate in writing whether firm will bid as a prime contractor or a subcontractor. Unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Bidders, subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet to receive one CD-ROM. Electronic medium for the bid submittal documents will not be allowed. Critical Path Method (network analysis system) is not required.
