The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for initial outfitting quantities of non-developmental, passenger anti-exposure survival systems. The purpose of this announcement is to apprise potential qualified vendors that on 16 August 1999, the Navy released a request for proposal (RFP) for Passenger Anti-Exposure Survival Systems (PAESS). Per Amendment 0003 to Solicitation N00421-99-R-1593, the solicitation has been re-opened and the closing date has been extended. The anticipated closing date is now 2:00 P.M. 26 October 1999.
