A -- ARMS CONTROL & VERIFICATION TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH SOL DTRA01-99-R-0052 DUE 121099 POC Contracting Officer/Judy Rodgers (703) 810-4685 A The Arms Control Technology Division (OST), On-Site Inspection Directorate (OS) of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement to obtain technical expertise to support conducting a wide range of short-term, quick-turnaround technical assessments in the areas of arms control and verification technology research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) including treaty negotiations and implementation, notification, and compliance monitoring provisions; efforts to prevent proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, on-site inspections and aerial inspections; the impact of treaties and agreements on force structures and weapon acquisition plans, advanced technology concepts, dual-use technology, technology prototyping, and compliance confidence-building measures; and dismantlement, peacekeeping, and the execution of Nunn-Lugar and other independent or associated agreements for completed, ongoing, preliminary and emergency negotiations and discussions. The solicitation is expected to result in multiple awards, on an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) basis. Task orders will be competitively negotiated for specific requirements. Contracts will be for a base period of one year, with four one-year option periods although it is expected that most projects will of one-year duration or less.
