A one-day conference highlighting Air Force Weather (AFW) current capabilities and future plans will be held on 3 November 1999, from 8:00am to 4:00pm at Building M of the MITRE Corporation, 202 Burlington Road, Bedford, MA. This conference is a follow-up to the Washington DC AFW Industry Day, held on 9 March 1999, to update civilian contractors on AFW's strategic vision. This November conference will look at both short term and long term (to about 2010) direction for AFW. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the meeting.
