KANEOHE BAY/CAMP SMITH FORCE BASE TECHNOLOGY EXPOSITION On Friday, February 18, 2000, Kaneohe Bay MCB/Camp Smith will be hosting their On-Site Technology Exposition from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m at Kaneohe Bay. The event is being promoted to all Base personnel at Kaneohe Bay, including the 3rd Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, HQ-Battalion, and the Combat Service Support Group 3 along with personnel from Camp Smith. Over 250 attendees are being expected, both military and civilian. Some of the expected technologies that are going to be at the expo include a focus on communications, equipment and software, data security, workstations, desktop publishing, presentation systems graphics, scanners, digitizing cameras, notebooks/laptops, multimedia, Y2K and contingency planning for Y2K, networking, deployable equipment, imaging, and video teleconferencing.
