JPL SPACE SCIENCE SYMPOSIUM FOR SMALL BUSINESS IN WASHINGTON, D.C. ON OCTOBER 13 The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will host the "5th Annual JPL Space Science Symposium for Small Businesses" on October 13. Small businesses in the high-tech industry are invited to attend this event at NASA Headquarters' Auditorium located at 300 E Street S.W. in Washington, D.C. (Metro stop: Federal Center S.W.) REGISTRATION: Begins at 8 a.m. followed by the Symposium Program (8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) There is no registration fee. PURPOSE: This one-day event is to introduce high-tech small businesses to JPL that may lack the resources to market the Laboratory's high-tech requirements in Southern California. The Laboratory is committed to doing business with high-tech small businesses and seeks to expand its supplier base for present and future technical requirements. FOCUS: The Symposium is an interactive and informative session highlighting JPL's and NASA's Science-related programs and initiatives to potential small business suppliers.
