The proposed boat shall be rigged for a dual outboard motor installation which greatly enhances the safety margins which are critical to safe offshore operations. Negotiations will be held with William E. Munson Company of Edmonds, Washington, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. A Fixed Price contract is contemplated. No solicitation is available, however, interested firms may submit a written statement of their capabilities to manufacture this specialized boat design in accordance with FWS specifications within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
