The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is looking for sources sought for the Air Surveillance and Precision Approach Radar Control System (ASPARCS). This synopsis is a follow-on to a previous Requests for Information, dated 19 Aug 99. A draft copy of the Request For Proposal (RFP) is located on the NAVAIR Home Page, www.navair.navy.mil, Opportunities, Naval Air Systems Command, Open Solicitations, N00019-99-R-1384. The draft RFP contains requirements for both the Marine Corps and the Air Force and consists of a Phase I/Phase II approach. The requirements under this anticipated contract will be procured in FY00 through FY04. Under Phase I, the procurement will be for the development of a First Article unit and production units. Under Phase II, the procurement will be for the development of the Phase II effort. Interested parties are encouraged to review this document and provide comments.
