for Military Occupational Specialty Improvement Training (MOSIT) for
such courses as Prescribed Load List, The Army Maintenance Management
System and Unit Level Logistics System (PLL/TAMMS/ULLS), Unit Supply
Management System, Physical Security/Arms Room Management,
Organizational Fuel Dispensing Equipment Operations (POL Handlers), and
Armored Course. The period of performance is 1 Feb 00 through 31 Jan 01
with four (4) one-year options. Estimated requirement is for 600 4-hour
sessions each year. Prospective bidders must be accredited by one of
the following institutions: Middle States Association of Colleges and
Schools, New England Association of Schools and Colleges, North Central
Association of Colleges and Schools, Northwest Association of Schools
and Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, or Western
Association of Schools and Colleges. This proposed contract is being
considered as a 100 percent set-aside for Historicaly Black Colleges
and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Institutions (MIs), as defined by
the Clause at 252.226-7000 of the Defense Federal Acquisition
Regulation Supplement. Interested HBCUs and MIs should provide the
contracting office, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days
after publication of this notice, evidence of their capability to
perform the contract, and a positive statement of their eligibility as
an HBCU or MI. If adequate response is not received from HBCUs and
MIs, the solicitation will instead be issued, without further notice,
as unrestricted. Therefore, replies to this notice are also requested
from all responsible sources. Telephone and facsimile requests will not
