The Grounds Maintenance contractor shall provide all materials, labor and equipment required to complete all landscape maintenance work for VA Greater Nebraska Health Care System, Grand Island Division, 2201 North Broadwell Avenue, Grand Island, Nebraska, 68803-2196. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for Standard Industrial Codes 0781, 0782, and 0783, $5.0 million. Bids will be for Base year plus four option years (See FAR 52.217-8 and 52.217-9). The estimated value of the solicitation for all years is between $100,000 to $250,000. There is approximately 21 acres of grounds needing year round maintenance. This solicitation will require a full grounds maintenance including but not limited to the following: 1) Perform soil test (Fall), Perform general cleanup and waste removal, mowing, edging of sidewalks and curbing, fertilizing, lawn weed control (pre-emergent and post emergent), lawn insect and disease control/ monitoring. 2) Tree shrubs and ground cover trimming/pruning (once per year), fertilizing, mulching, weeding, insect and disease control/monitoring, spring cleanup, trash/leaf removal, and winter cleanup.
