TRADOC Acquisition Center (TAC) will be issuing a DRAFT Solicitation on or about 6 OCT 99 for an A-76 Commercial Activity Study for Public Works and Logistics functions at Ft. Knox, KY. This office welcomes industry comments/questions pertaining to any portion of the solicitation; with particular emphasis on Sections L & M and the Performance Work Statement. Please respond by 5 NOV 99. Pertinent responses to this draft solicitation will be used to IMPROVE similar TRADOC A-76 DPW/DOL projects. A final solicitation will be issued in approximately 120 days. The Ft. Knox requirement solicits the contractor to perform services relating to the maintenance of Buildings and Structures, Family Housing, Utility Systems, HVAC Systems, Dining Facility Equipment, Surfaced Area's, as well as providing for Pest Control, Self-Help Services, Installation Transportation Services, Base Supply Services, Grounds Maintenance, Range Maintenance, Railroad Maintenance and Materiel Maintenance. The Performance Period is forone year with 4 one-year options. The applicable SIC Code is 8744 with a Size Standard of $20M. This procurement will be solicited unrestricted under a cost-plus-award-fee arrangement. A formal source selection procedure will be used during the evaluation process with oral presentations being a part of the process.
