NON-TOXIC AQUEOUS FOAM FOR DECONTAMINATION OF CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WARFARE AGENTS Sandia National Laboratories ("Sandia") has recently developed a non-toxic aqueous foam for decontamination of chemical and biological warfare agents. Sandia is now soliciting expressions of interest from qualified private sector companies desiring to commercialize the technology. It is expected that the commercialization effort will lead to a product suitable for manufacturing and commercial sales. Responses from interested companies should include the following: A statement of interest in developing, manufacturing, and marketing the aqueous foam and/or associated deployment equipment/products; A brief statement concerning the company's history including information about products that the company markets and information concerning the company's financial resources demonstrating its capability and commitment to participate in a commercialization effort with Sandia; and A statement concerning the company's objectives and expectations, if any, regarding rights in intellectual property developed as aresult of collaboration with Sandia. Sandia is also interested in responses regarding proposed alternative products/uses for the non-toxic, aqueous foam formulation. A workshop for qualified interested parties will be offered if sufficient interest in this partnering opportunity develops.
