The Bureau of Reclamation anticipates awarding a fixed-fee type contract for construction of approximately 5.27 miles of PVC irrigation pipe on the San Xavier District of the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation located approximately 10 miles south of Tucson, Arizona in Pima County. Principal features of the work consist of furnishing and installing approximately 27,800 linear feet of 30 and 42-inch PVC pipe; modifications to the existing turnout vault and surge tank; furnishing and installing a steel regulating tank; furnishing and installing new steel piping; and furnishing and installing power and telemetry cable, electrical controls for the butterfly valve and pressure reducing valves in the existing control building. The solicitation package may be requested from the Bureau of Reclamation, Phoenix Area Office, Attention: PXAO-8010, PO Box 81169, Phoenix, Arizona 85069-1169. The package will be available on or about October 19, 1999. Copies of the solicitation will be available for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 each. This acquisition is NOT set-aside for small business firms, however, all sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relative to business status, including identification as to whether it is small, large, minority-owned and/or woman-owned. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 1623 and the small business size standard is $17,000,000 in annual receipts.
