E-MAIL: Procurement Technician, Carol.K.Husselbee@usace.army.mil. The work of this project consists of maintenance dredging of the U.S. Coast Guard Facilities at New Haven, CT. The work will provide a 10 foot deep entrance channel and basin at Mean Low Water (MLW) as shown on the contract drawings. Sand and clayey silt material will be removed using a mechanical dredge and scows to accomplish the work. Material dredged from the entrance channel and basin will be disposed of at the nearshore borrow pit at Morris Cove, located approximately 1 mile south of the Coast Guard Facility. The estimated cost of the work is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. Work shall be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. Bid documents are available on or about 21 October 1999. Requests for plans and specifications shall indicate whether a firm is a prime contractor or a subcontractor. Bidders, subcontractors and Plan Rooms are required to self-register their firm or office on the internet to receive one CD-Rom.
