Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for a fabric filter
collector system referred to as a baghouse. The system's performance
features must encompass all of the following: (1) must be capable of
capturing greater than 99% of particulate below 10 m. (2) outlet
particle loading to be less than 0.015 gr/scf, inlet to be <600
mg/m3. (3) must be constructed of acid gas resistant materials; gas
contact surfaces must be 316 stainless steel or equivalent; epoxy
coating is not desirable for durability reasons. (4) must be designed
to perform for a minimum of ten (10) years under the specified
conditions. (5) must not operate below acid gas dew point. (6) fabric
must be conventional bags; P-84 or equivalent. (7) design must be of a
reverse jet type, and must be equipped with standard sock-type filters
capabe of operating under the specified conditions. (8) baghouse be
capable of online pulse cleaning. (9) when constructed the baghouse
shall not leak through joints, welds, doors, hatches or any other
opening other than the inlet(s0 and outlet(s). (10) four support legs
must be provide with the baghouse, and should be sufficient height to
allow for rotary airlocks and 55-gallon collection drums. (11) a bag
change door is required. (12) maximum allowable height of the baghouse
is 20 ft., must fit through a 10' x 12' roll-up door. (13) baghouse is
to be installed inside in a high bay area. FAR Part 13- Simplfied
Acquisition Procedures will be used to purchase this system. A detailed
specifications package will be issued with the Request for
Quotation(RFQ). To receive a RFQ package, send your request to the
