A -- STINGER BLOCK II PROGRAM, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING DEVELOPMENT (EMD) SOL DAAH0100R0001 POC John R. Bailey, Contracting Officer, (256)842-6010 R&D effort for Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) for the STINGER Block II Missile. The period of performance for Phase I EMD effort is to begin FY00 and continue through 3rd Quarter FY04. Phase II, consisting of options for continued EMD, Long Lead Items and Low Rate Initial Production, is anticipated to begin 4th Quarter FY04 and continue through FY06. The effort will include retrofit of the STINGER-RMP (Reprogrammable Microprocessor) Missile to the Block II configuration (1,122 ea.).
