The Defense Threat Reduction Agency plans to award a sole source contract modification to Arete Associates under DTRA Contract DSWA01-98-C-0097. Arete Associates is currently under contract to develop a technical implementation plan for DTRA program to help anchor NWRT science and engineering skills. They will develop detailed options for DTRA programs and develop a plan providing step-by-step sequence of actions required for program implementation. This modification provides for development of a retention plan for core scientific, engineering, and technical skills and capabilities sufficient to indefinitely maintain the United States' nuclear deterrent force. DTRA believes that Arete Associates is the only source capable of efficiently providing the subject requirement within the time required.
