The function under study will be the Child Development Care Program at the Naval Air Engineering Station, Lakehurst, New Jersey. The program includes: Supplemental Program Services, Child Development Services, and Family Child Care Services. The period of performance under study is a base year beginning FY 00 with option periods for a total three year performance period. The solicitation is estimated to be issued on or around January 2000, followed by a preproposal conference with a site visit. It is anticipated that this will be a Best Value procurement with detailed technical proposals required which includes Past Performance information. A Firm Fixed price type contract is anticipated.
