Hess, Contracting Officer, 301-394-4593 The US Army Research Laboratory has a requirement for preventive maintenance of facilities, equipment and systems in the new Physical Sciences Laboratory Facility (PSLF). The PSLF is a technical facility, approximately 370,000 square feet in area, consisting of cleanrooms, laboratory space, offices, support areas and technical systems. The contractor shall provide labor, tools and equipment required for routine maintenance. The systems and equipment requiring maintenance have been segregated into the following categories: Life Safety systems (e.g., fire protection/detection, waste treatment); heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing and electrical. A complete list of equipment and systems will be included in the solicitation. A fixed price contract is anticipated for a base year and four option years, and the contract will also include a Time and Materials Line item for unscheduled/emergency repairs, as well as any replacement parts.
