Code 4783, Packing and Crating. Contractor shall provide all personnel,
equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services
as necessary to perform packing and crating of household goods at
Little Rock AFB, AR. This service includes but is not limited to
packing of household goods for inbound, outbound and intra-city
services. Locations of the different areas of performance are as
follows: Outbound Area A (Schedule I), Inbound Area A (Schedule II),
Intra-City Area 1, 2, and 3 (Schedule III). Schedule I and II consists
of Arkansas Counties: Arkansas, Baxter, Clay, Cleburne, Conway,
Craighead, Faulkner, Fulton, Garland, Grant, Greene, Hot Springs,
Independence, Izard, Jackson, Jefferson, Lawrence, Lonoke, Marion,
Mississippi, Pery, Poinsett, Prairie, Pulaski, Randolph, Saline,
Searcy, Sharp, Stone, Van Buren, White and Missouri counties:
Butler,Carter, Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot and Ripley.
Contractor must have authority to work in both Arkansas and Missouri.
Schedule III consists of Area 1: Commercial Zone Jacksonville, Area 2:
Arkansas, Area not covered under commercial zone up to 50 mile radius,
and Area 3: Commercial Zone of Pine Bluff. Request for Proposal (RFP)
is to be issued on or about 15 November 1999. This acquisition is 100%
small business set-aside. Proposed contract is for a basic year plus
four one-year options. Award of a contract will be made to the
responsive, responsible offeror whose proposal offers the best value to
the government. This solicitation may result in the award of more than
one contract for schedule (I, II) and (III). Upon issue, the RFP will
be available on the Internet at the Electronic Posting System (EPS)
web site, which is at the following address: http//www.eps.gov. Please
