information for potential sources for a voice logging system to handle
the ground communications Digital Operational Intercommunications
System (OIS-D) and various analog voice circuits. The following are
minimum requirements for the system: Capable of recording 4 DS-1
standard T-1 inputs and 12 analog voice circuits. Capable of system
expansion to support up to 14 DS-1 standard T-1 inputs and 40 analog
voice circuits. Analog inputs require adjustable AGC. Continuous or
Voxed playback at remote sites with password protected data
transmission via ethernet. Support LAN or WAN networks. Capable of
outputting call records to standard multi media voice files and to
standard C-90 cassettes. Capable of multi user simultaneous access to
search and playback call records. Capable of receiving IRIG B timing
and marking input call records with the same, including silent time
periods. Capable of recording 1000 channel hours of voice per each DS-1
standard T-1 input with no operator intervention. Client/Server
Architecture. LAN/WAN configuration. Ethernet topologies and TCP/IP
protocol. Client environment will be either Windows NT, or 95/98. 19"
rack mountable hardware components Capable of a complete primary media
back-up. In addition to PC based controls, front panel media controls.
Self monitoring system diagnostics. Capable of simultaneous record and
playback. Secondary storage media of DAT, 8mm, DVD or CD. Internal
battery backup for and orderly shutdown. No solicitation exists;
therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation
is released it will be synopsized in the CBD and on the NASA
Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offerors
responsibility to monitor these cites for the release of any
solicitation or synopsis. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to
meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit
documentation, literature, brochures, and references. Responses must
include the following: name and address of firm and the size of
business; whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a),
