Polk & Co., Southfield, MI under authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1). The requirements include capability to obtain automobile and truck registration data as required by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Headquarters to perform analysis as mandated by Congress. The Contractor will provide the New National Light Truck Registration Data by Model Year within the Calendar Years 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994 on CD-ROM during the base period. These data will include Make, Model, Body Style, Restraint System, Country of Origin Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) Rating Class, and Monthly Counts. There will be 4 Options which require, if exercised, the contractor to provide the following New National Light Truck Registration Data as stated above by Model Year: Option 1, within the Calendar Years 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998; Option 2, within Calendar Year 1999; Option 3, within Calendar Year 2000; and Option 4, within Calendar Year 2001. The reports will consist of the 1991 2001 CY National Light Truck Registration and the National New Car Registration (NNCR) data files. This will be a three year contract. Interested parties must respond to this announcement in writing within fifteen days of publication. Firms will be required to submit documentation in support of the above for evaluation prior to receiving a solicitation. Telephone requests will not be honored.
