wkaufman@668-ls.aia.af.mil. HQ AIA is seeking sources for engineering
& installation (I&E) support for routine and urgent
communications-electronics, computer network, and intelligence mission
systems and equipment requirements at selected sites throughout the
world. Requirements to be performed include, but are not limited to:
Engineering and installation of telecommunications, computer networks,
comm-electronics equipment, circuit restoration and upgrade,
voice/data communication upgrades, equipment replacement or
modernizations, command mission equipment realignments and operationl
testing of equipment. The potential contractor must submit evidence of
understanding the scope of work involved in evaluating, designing,
engineering, fabricating, installing and testing telecommunications,
computer and unique mission systems and equipment in support of the
USAF intelligence mission. The potential contractor must demonstrate
their qualifications to perform evaluations, design, engineering,
fabrication, purchase/store materials, install and provide full
documentation to include AutoCad drawings. The contractor shall discuss
areas of expertise that will ensure that qualified personnel with
appropriate security clearances respond to requirements. The potential
contractor must describe the company's previous experience and current
capabilities to perform the work required. This includes a list of
equipment, facilities, tools and specialized process equipment to be
used. The contractor must also describe the design, engineering,
fabrication, installation and testing, project management and quality
assurance skills it possesses. The contractor must provide references
and demonstrate its prior experience. The contractor must describe at
least three (3) examples of equipment installed within a
telecommunications facility or similar setting. The contractor must
have a local office with adequate storage facility (3,000 sq ft). The
contractor must be able to obtain Top Secret Clearances for its
employees prior to award. Contractors are requested to identify whether
