The Army is seeking sources capable of providing maintenance service for an Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System located at Fort Stewart, Georgia. The system consists of a mainframe located at Fort Stewart, Georgia with approximately 250 individual alarm units on Fort Stewart and approximately 65 individual alarm units located at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia. The current operating system is a CTOS based program but will be upgraded with a Windows operating base during FY00. The contract would consist of semi-annual maintenance for the mainframe and all related individual alarm units. This would include the man hours and all customary parts and supplies generally associated with standard maintenance for this type system. The Contractor would provide status reports for work completed as well as proposals for additional work required outside the scope of the contract. In addition, a 24 hour on call service for system failures would be required. The contractor must be or have a service representative located within a two hour commuting distance of both Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield for response to system failures. The Contractor and personnel related to work under the contract would be required to obtain a Confidential security clearance prior to start of the contract.
