J -- OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AUTOMATED FUEL SERVICE SYSTEM DUE 102299 POC Mr. Hayes, FAX: 011-49-611-816-2197 In order that potential sources may learn of the interest in a specific requirement, an advanced notice is published here. There is a requirement for non-personal services for performance of maintenance and services, parts installation, and furnishing the human resources necessary to operate and maintain the Government-owned TRAK Automated Fuel Service System (AFSS) at fuel points located throughout Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. The AFSS system will record, control, and account for fuel issues made from the fuel points to individual customers using an electronic read/write memory key (or equivalent). The data collected by the AFSS system will be centrally accumulated electronically at the 200th TSC MMC (PROV) PMD at Warner Barracks in Bamberg, Germany. The contractor shall maintain a permanent office at Warner Barracks, staffed as determined by the contractor but consisting of at least one individual, to monitor the AFSS system and to provide other related services. The AFSS system must be fully compatible and able to download its data to the Department of Defense Fuel Automated System (FAS). The contractor shall maintain sufficient service technicians to ensure all emergency field service repairs are initiated within 48 hours and routine service repairs within 96 hours. Firms having the capabilities necessary to meet the above requirement are invited to submit documentation addressing these capabilities.
