The National Science Foundation is issuing a solicitation for operation of health services units for a number of federal agencies within and outside the Washington, DC area. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all professional and administrative personnel necessary to staff and operate each site. A minimum number of sites will be described in the RFP and additional site may be added during the contract period. Basic requirements (at all sites) to generally include Occupational and Non-occupational Medical Treatment, Immunizations, Medical Examinations, Medical Records, Employee Assistance, Supplies, Administration, Security, Administration of Red Cross Blood Donor Program and Wellness Programs. A fixed price (per site), indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is contemplated with a base year and (4) one year option periods. The estimated contract maximum, inclusive of options and potential additional sites, is $50,000,000. The applicable SIC code is 8099. The solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis and shall include the evaluation preference for small disadvantaged business (SDB)clause at FAR 52.219-23. A best value source selection strategy will be used with technical factors significantly more important than price.
