This solicitation is for a follow-on to Contract N00244-98-C-0011 for the San Diego Metropolitan Area and Contract N00244-96-C-5204 for San Clemente Island. The requirement is for mess attendant services at four of the metropolitan sites (that is, Naval Station, San Diego, Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado, Naval Air Station, North Island, Naval Submarine Base) and full food service at both Fleet Anti-submarine Warfare Training Center and Naval Auxiliary Landing Field, San Clemente Island. The San Clemente Island site will be considered for a split award. Site visits will be scheduled for all 6 locations for which advance reservations will be required. See the solicitation for details on obtaining a reservation. The projected start date is 1 January 2000 for a base period of 6 months with options extending through December 2005. Technical proposals will be required. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. The solicitation document will be made available on the Navy's Electronic Commerce Online website at www.neco.navy.mil and on the procurement office's website at www.sd.fisc.navy.mil.
