The project will include the construction of 68-78 two-story concrete, stucco finished, single family housing units. Project also includes demolition of 40 exiting units. Other various additives may be exercised upon availability of funds. Project performance period is expected to be 18 months. The magnitude of this project is over $10,000,000. Performance Price Tradeoffs (PPT) procedures will be utilized for this procurement and proposals will be solicited on a firm-fixed price lump sum basis. This requirement will be unrestricted. Standard Industrial Code assigned to this acquisition in 1521 with an annual size standard of $17,000,000. The Request for Proposal (RFP) package will be available for downloading and viewing at Electronic Posting System (EPS) (http://www.eps.gov) or at our Internet homepage: (http://www.lajes.af.mil)(click on Business Opportunities, then click on solicitations)on or about 18 Oct 1999. A pre-proposalconference and site visit will be held at Lajes Field on 2 Nov 99 (subject to change).
