Approximately 14 individual invitations for bids will be issued under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program (Rehabilitation projects will be in Elko, Eureka, Perching and Washoe Counties). Seed will be purchased on a Pure Live Seed (PLS) basis. Before accepting delivery of seed shipments, contractors must provide written evidence(seed label and letter) to the NRCS Contract Specialist in Reno, that the seed conforms to Pure Live Seed requirements. Test methods specified in Rules for Testing Seeds,Proceedings of the Association of Official Seed Analysis will be acceptable for determining germination rate. Delivery of pre-mixed (if applicable), certified weed-free, seed will be contracted for specified locations.
