L -- TECHNICAL REPRESENTATIVE SERVICES FOR INGERSOLL EQUIPMENT IN EGYPT SOL DAAE07-00-R-M002 POC Marie Moran, AMSTA-LC-CLEC, (810) 574-7312 TACOM will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP), DAAE07-00-R-M002 for technical services to perform on-site support for Ingersoll equipment located at the Egyptian Tank Plant (ETP), in Cairo, Egypt. The intent is to issue a one-year contract with two one-year option periods. The requirement will be solicited using Other Than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 7.302-1(a)(2)(ii), "Only One Responsible Source." Currently only Ingersoll has the engineering and manufacturing knowledge to service the equipment, which has been designed and/or modified by Ingersoll specifically for the ETP.
