Solicitation is for upgrading approximately one mile of existing 7.62 kV single phase powerline to a 13.8 kV three phase line. This 13.8 kV three phase line shall be extended with the addition of three poles another 746 feet. This project involves leaving the phase conductor and the neutral in place and adding crossarms and two additional phase conductors. The successful contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, supervision and materials (with the exception of transformers that are supplied by the Government). The work will be done on the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site (SRS) near Aiken, SC. SRS is a restricted access Government facility and all persons entering SRS must be U.S. citizens.
