The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) requires a cw Titan: Sapphire laser system with the following critical specifications: 1) Sapphire laser that is broadly tunable from 700 nm to 1080 nm with a 5 W pump laser. 2) The laser needs to run at a single mode. 3) The laser output power specifications are (5W pump power) 900 mW at 700 nm, 1500 mW at 780 nm, 790 mW at 900 nm, 500 mW at 1000 nm, and 150 mW at 1060 nm. Technical merit as well as price will be used to evaluate offers. As the technical merit becomes more equal, price becomes a greater factor.
